Refined the site a bit
By Chris
I spent a little time and used Claude Code to do some detail work and looked at different website designs and some things that my site, I felt, did not live up to. I wanted it to look a little bit more professional but yet not editorial and I wanted to make sure that the site itself actually had a little bit more fun aspects to it other than making it look awful or put together by a five-year-old.
What I ended up doing was using Claude Code and telling it to look at a list of ten different sites that I really liked as far as what they looked like and how they operated. I then had it compare itself to my site and come up with some ideas that I could implement and gave me a top ten list of ideas. I then refined those ideas down and implemented about six of those individual pieces, such as:
- mousing over certain objects and buttons now gives a glow effect and a slight movement
- there are some subtle color differences
- a little bit more depth into the background so It doesn't look as flat.
A bunch of other little small tweaks and everything, which I think makes the site look a lot better \
